Sandbag Information for Buffalo City & Belvidere Residents:
Buffalo City Residents: Sandbags and Sand are available at the City Shop (North Humboldt across from the Cemetery) Please bring your own shovels. **Please do not take any sandbags that are already filled at the location. These are being filled by volunteers to protect City infrastructure as the river rises.

Town of Belvidere Residents: Sandbags are available starting March 22, 2019 for residents to pickup at W1681 Heineman Ln, Cochrane WI (Ron Speltz Construction Shed). A load of sand has been delivered to the Belvidere Boat Landing for any residents to fill bags at their convenience. Bring your own shovels. Any Questions call Supervisor Ron Speltz at (715)495-0182.

Located just off Highway 35 (Wisconsin Great River Road) toward the river. This is a popular area for birding and fishing in backwaters. It is located on the banks of the backwaters of the Mississippi River. It has an abundance of migrating birds, best fishing ever along with miles of scenic quiet streets for biking or hiking. Foelsch River Side Park has a 1 mile nature trail and open free to the public. Come off river at mile marker 747.9 to several docks. There are numerous boat ramps along the River Road.
